Carmen has more than 20 years of proven experience in the regulation of the energy sector, both at European and national level, applicable to all activities within the sector, including renewable generation, electricity and gas distribution and supply, self-consumption, storage, aggregation and flexibility, as well as energy communities.
She also regularly participates in European Commission forums on electricity, gas, energy infrastructure and consumer protection, and additionally chairs the Strategic Advisory Committee of the EU DSO Entity. She is a frequent speaker at conferences, seminars and webinars on the electricity and gas sectors, both nationally and internationally. In the academic field, she serves as a visiting professor on the Master’s Degree in Law and Economic Regulation at ESADE Law School.
