Irene Bartol has more than 20 years of proven experience in the regulation of the energy sector, with a strong specialisation in Energy Law and Administrative Law. She has developed an extensive career in legal and regulatory advisory work and in representing the interests of the electricity sector. She is currently Secretary General of the Association of Electricity Companies (ASEME) and a member of the Energy Committee of CECOT.

She combines her professional activity with a notable teaching role as a professor on the Master’s in Energy Law at the Spanish Energy Club and on the Advanced Programme in Energy Law and the Electricity Sector at ESADE Law School.
